Alien General Beloved Brion Brides Book 6 eBook Vi Voxley

This was a wonderful addition to the series! Captain Lana Carmac is on a mission to find an ancient rogue ship under the feared Admiral Worgen, a man of ancient legend who had been presumed dead for many years. Apparently he is rumored to be back and attacking Terran ships. His goal is to find his gesha, a bonded mate that gives a Brion male power and focus. He then plans to attack his home planet and take over, the ultimate goal of returning his violent race back to their original vicious natures. Although still fierce and unbeatable in battle, they have come a long way since Worgen’s time, but he wants things like they used to be.

General Corden is also on scene secretly. He had a special mission from the Elders to terminate renegade Generals who would destroy the progress the Brions have made with other cultures. He joins Lana as they try to take down Worgen who seems all-powerful and his ship indestructible. They also discover that Lana is Corden’s gesha – but being human, she wants free choice and won’t accept him. With the danger and attempts to deal with Worgen’s violence, the plot twists and turns and races ahead! Their courage is amazing, especially in comparison to the rest of the captured fleet who are obviously not warrior types. Will so few be able to overcome this formidable, never defeated enemy?

I highly recommend this wonderful book! The storyline is awesome, the main and supporting characters are very likeable, and the action doesn’t stop! This is definitely a must-read on my list!

Alien General Beloved Brion Brides Book 6 eBook Vi Voxley Reviews

Vi Voxley has incredible talent when it comes to being a wordsmith. She weaves ideas and images in such away that makes you feel the passion, the heat of battle, and the fear of death. She crafts her characters with skill. Her descriptions of battles and fighting take on a reality in spite of being future orientated. After reading one book in the series, I purchased them all.
You will enjoy reading about the General and his love as they take on a Myth from the past. Then defeat the past so they can have a future for their World. Try reading it first to last in the series or do as I did and stumble on this book accidentally . Then read them all.
Rating 4.5!!!
Corden is my second fav of the generals (no one can replace Diego in my heart) but Lana is definitely my fav heroine so far. Cordon is sexy and intelligent, wrecking havoc on the enemy and hatching plans without hordes of support troops at his back. Lana is brave and resourceful, a force in her own right. I loved the way the bond was handled this time; it made the story so much different than the others, very refreshing. The villain was truly evil and fearsome but a formidable foe, a dark figure from legend. The action and battles and strategizing were all carried out at the same fever pitch as the other novels and the tension was incredible. You have to love the mythos of the Brions. There is also a Palian presence in the book, something I really liked since I admire and enjoy their personalities and culture. I can't wait for the next book!
Loved it. I love this series the stories keep getting better. Captain Lana Carmac is Captain of the rogue ship Raptor is part of a Terran special covert team that takes care of things outside the GU normal jurisdictions. Their latest mission involves investigating reports of siting of a Brion ship of legend that disappeared 100 year ago. General Corden of the War Shop Claw is unique among the Brion Generals, he is also a Covert agent for the Elders and their agent to protect the Brion people from the Generals should it be required. General Worgen of the warship the Abysmal is a relic of the dark time of the Birons, when rage ruled their warriors. Rumors of Terran gesha and the exploits of their garion Generals have reached Worgen and he is now on the hunt for his Terran gesha. He wants to bring the darks times back to Brion and a Terran gesha will help him do it. A fast paced, steamy story. Loved Lana and Croden. Can't wait for the next story!
I'm going to comment on all the books in this one comment. As stated I've read the entire series thus far, and I would like to point out that as the series continues the stories progressively get better. The first book, which is actually the third installment to the first two short stories, (Alien General's Bride) actually resembles to other stories I have read. I had a hard time picturing the characters because even in the other novels they are not described very well. However, the first book is good at giving the first glimpse into the world Vi Voxley is trying to create. The second book, less action packed as the other three, reminded me of "Beauty and the Beast"--sort of. In the Alien General's Chosen, Leiya's character reminded me of a pale image to Natasha Rostova in "War and Peace". Meaning the second novel is a cute story, but not as action packed--the threat posed to Leiya's character is not as threatening. The third book is the best book in my opinion. The Alien General's Fated is the longest and most intricate of the four. I also enjoyed how unlike the other story's Ryden and Aria are not bonded immediately, but I wished their delayed bonding could have been explained at some point--as I also wished the mystery behind the Palian Agent in the first book could have been better explained. I do not know if this is done on purpose for future books, but some loose ends never seem to be resolve completely. For instance, is Aria the only Terren to become pregnant by her fated and what happens when all the women meet each other? As stated before, the plots to the series get better with each novel. This book the Alien General's Beloved is also one of the better books in the series. I truly and throughly enjoyed these last two books. I found that as soon as I got into the plot, I could not put the books down--let alone take the time needed to comment on the series. It is not just that the action and plots are better, the characters and the world development (Vi Voxley universe) in these last two books are better. I can't wait to read any other books written in the future if this development continues. That being said, I would like to point out very few discrepencies I have with the series. One, like I said before, I wished the characters and some of the scenes were more descriptive. I had a hard time envisioning some of the characters and sometimes I would read a couple pages to realize that the characters were in a different room or staged in a different direction. Two, what most people would find important--considering these are romance novels. The sex scenes got a little boring after a while because as the series continues the scenes were very similar to one another besides a few differences. I found this ironic due the the nature of the different coupling--different couples enjoy sex differently. Three, I wished each story would tie up any loose ends better. Unless, this is done purposefully. I hope after reading my last couple of comments, that no one becomes discouraged by reading this SciFi romance fiction series because it really does get better with each novel. Each book becomes more creative and adds more interesting details to this fictional world. I really enjoyed my time spent reading these books.
